PAYG bookings must be made through Spond Discover. Monthly memberships are managed through the Spond Club app.
Spond setup
Monthly members join Spond Club. One-off bookings use Spond Discover.
We use Spond in two different ways. Monthly Academy and Wildcats members are added into the Spond Club app so they can receive member updates, group communication and manage their subscription. One-off PAYG players book through our Spond Discover page and are not added into the private member groups.

Safe, qualified and supportive coaching.
Pex Hill Academy is led by Academy Manager Martin Drury, a UEFA-qualified coach and founder of Drury Coaching. Sessions are planned and delivered with structure, care and professionalism, giving children a positive place to learn and enjoy football.
UEFA-Led Coaching
Academy sessions are overseen by Martin Drury, a UEFA-qualified coach, ensuring consistency across the programme.
DBS Checked Coaches
All coaches involved with Pex Hill Academy are fully DBS checked.
FA Safeguarding Trained
Coaches complete FA safeguarding training to help provide a safe, positive and supportive environment for every child.

A grassroots-led academy built around fun, confidence and development.
Pex Hill Academy gives young players a positive place to start, enjoy and continue their football journey. The sessions are built around enjoyment, confidence, teamwork and age-appropriate development.
Our aim is to create an environment where children feel comfortable on the ball, make friends, learn through play and gradually build the skills and understanding needed for team football with Pex Hill FC.

Player pathway
A pathway into Pex Hill FC.
The academy is designed to fuel Pex Hill FC teams. A key aim is to help create new Under-7 teams each year where numbers, ability, commitment and coaching support allow.

Start
Fun, age-appropriate sessions for younger players beginning their football journey.

Develop
Regular coaching to build confidence, technical ability and understanding of the game.

Progress
Support to move into future Pex Hill FC teams, including new U7 teams and suitable existing teams where appropriate.
Not every child starts football at the same age. Players who miss the Under-7 starting point, or who are not quite ready for team football, can continue to train with the academy and be supported towards a suitable team when the time is right.

Foundation Academy
For preschool, reception, Years 1 and 2 children starting their football journey through fun, movement and ball mastery.
Development Academy
For school years 3–6, helping players improve core skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, turning and finishing.
Girls’ Sessions
Dedicated girls’ football opportunities, including Wildcats, helping girls build confidence, friendships and a love for the game.
Future Team Pathway
Supporting players towards future Pex Hill FC teams, including creating new U7 teams where possible.
England Football Accredited
Part of a 3 Star FA Accredited club.
Pex Hill Academy is connected to Pex Hill FC, a 3 Star FA Accredited club. This reflects the club’s commitment to good standards, safe football environments and a positive experience for players and families.
Girls’ Football
Wildcats at Pex Hill Academy.
We also offer Wildcats sessions for girls, creating a fun and welcoming environment for girls to enjoy football, learn new skills and build confidence. Wildcats is available at £17 per month or £4.50 PAYG.
Wildcats is a great way for girls to start playing football, make friends and develop towards future team football when they are ready. Wildcats monthly membership is managed through Spond Club. One-off PAYG sessions must be booked through Spond Discover.
